Somerset Voices

Do you enjoy singing? Come and join us! As part of a fundraising concert series for St Margaret's Hospice, Elizabeth Hayley has created the community choir 'Somerset Voices' - who will perform in 'An American Parade' on Saturday 5th July at St John's church, Wellington, alongside the renowned Taunton Concert Band, Broadway Babies, a Barbershop ensemble, with Elizabeth Hayley and John Young both conducting and playing piano/organ. They will be joined by the fabulous jazz bass player Ron Prentice, Chris Davies (tenor), and young drummer & Taunton Young Musician of the Year finalist Jonty Hedges (drums).

All ages/abilities welcome. Music will be provided but you don't have to be able to read it! Songs will include selections from 'Showboat', 'Guys and Dolls', and toe-tapping numbers from composers George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin & Rodgers & Hammerstein.
